Top12 prevents corrosion of the reinforcement of the bridge central pillars which are bypassed on both sides. Due to low reinforcement levels, conventional B500B is completely replaced in the pillar.

Retaining walls close to traffic are exposed to spray mist loads and possibly also to splash water loads. The outer reinforcement layer of the chloride-facing surface can be selectively executed with Top12. Likewise, in accordance with the normative requirements from Switzerland, the non-inspectable tensile reinforcement for protection against load-bearing capacity risks can also be selectively executed in Top12.
Advantage: No maintenance over the lifetime of the surface and minimization of the risk of a loss of load-bearing capacity in case of non-inspectable tensile reinforcement
